Highly secure

All your files are zipped and encrypted, using 256 bit encryption algorithm, with an encrypting key (password) defined by you. During the transmission of your backup files to our servers, all communications between your computer and our servers are transported in a 256 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) channel. Even our staff will not be able to open your backup files.

Your backed up files can be restored anytime, anywhere using any computer with an internet connection. There is no additional charge for restoring files.

You define your own schedule for the automatic backup schedule; monthly weekly, daily or you can custom your own backup schedule. Once you have selected your backup schedule, backups will run automatically without further intervention. 

You select the backup files

You can choose to backup your entire computer or only selected files and folders. You \can even backup your Windows system state. TIP – Music, video and photograph files take up more data storage space than document files.   

Reports - keeping you up to date

A report will be emailed to you automatically upon each successful or unsuccessful backup. If a scheduled backup was skipped due to reasons such as your computer being down or the disruption of your internet connection at the scheduled backup time, an email notifying you about the incident will be sent to you.

You can specify the number of days, the week and the month you would like snapshots of your files to be retained on our servers. This feature enables you to restore files that you have deleted on your computer and to access older versions of a file.

Automatic housekeeping                                                                                                When you delete a file on your computer, the backup copy will still be available on our servers for a period of time that you specify. Once this period of time has been exceeded, the back up copy will be automatically deleted. This feature helps minimise the amount of space your backup files occupy on our servers, saving you money!  

Shorter backup time required                                                                                              After  the initial full backup, subsequent backups will only upload new files and files that have changed since the last backup. This significantly minimises the time necessary to complete each backup operation. 

You may continue using applications even while they are being backed up. For example Microsoft Outlook data files can be backed up even when you are working with your e-mails. In addition, we have special agents for MS Exchange Server, MS SQL Server, Oracle Database Server, Lotus Domino / Notes and MySQL Server, which allow these applications to be backed up while they are still in use.
